philosophy
Pennside Weekday Preschool, a preschool for children of all denominations in our community, seeks:

  • To provide an enriching transition between home and full time school, by building self esteem, and developing a positive attitude toward learning in each child.
  • To promote social interaction by building relationships with others, developing self-control, independence and a sensitivity to the world around us.
  • To offer spiritual development for the children of God, teaching children they are created, loved and cared for by God.

admission
Enrollment is open to all, regardless of religious preference, ethnic group, or race.

age requirements
Pennside Weekday Preschool is for children ages three and four. Children must be three or four years old by October 31st and potty trained.

school year
The school term normally operates concurrently with the local school district (Antietam) and terminates prior to Memorial Day.

history
The church started the school in September 1962 after it recognized a need within the local community. Rev. Duquette is the school director and shares direction of the school with the Preschool Advisory Board and the Session of Pennside Presbyterian Church.
